HollyFrontier Corp. said Thursday that it is shutting down one of its refineries in New Mexico for up to 15 days for repairs. The petroleum products company said that the temporary closure of the Navajo refinery fluid catalytic cracking unit will reduce its crude oil production by about 800,000 barrels. The refinery is located in Artesia, N.M., and serves markets in the southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico, according to the company's website. A representative for the company was not immediately available to comment on the decision.

HollyFrontier, based in Dallas, has five refineries and makes gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and other products. Shares of the company fell 91 cents to close at $31.48 Thursday.
